Polls in a Space
What it is #
Plaazaa Poll lets a Space ask its members a question and count the answers — where to hold the festival, what time the rubbish truck should come, which stalls the market needs. Every Space with polls has a Polls tab.
- Only members of the Space can vote. Open the Space and press Join first.
- You can change your vote until the poll closes.
- Polls stay in their Space. They do not show in Posts or in anyone's news feed.
Vote #
- Open the Space and tap the Polls tab.
- Pick your answer. Some polls let you pick more than one — the card says Choose up to 2 (or Choose any).
- Press Vote.
Depending on the poll, you then see the results straight away, or a note that results come after it closes.
💡 Changed your mind? Press Change my vote, pick again and press Save my vote. Remove my vote takes it back completely.
Reading the card #
| You see | It means |

| ★ OFFICIAL | The Space itself (the office or the organisers) asks. Official polls come first. |
| OPEN / CLOSED | Whether you can still vote. A closed poll shows the final result with 🏆. |
| ⏱ Closes in 2 days | When voting ends. |
| 🔒 Results after you vote | You see the counts once you have voted. |
| 🔒 Results when it closes | Nobody sees the counts until the poll ends. |
| 👥 voters hidden | Only numbers are shown; nobody can see who voted for what. |
Press See who voted (when the poll allows it) to see names per answer. Press 💬 Comment to talk about the poll.
Start a poll #
- In the Polls tab press ＋ Start a poll (also on the Space's Home).
- Write the question and at least 2 choices (up to 10). ＋ Add a choice adds a row.
- Choose:
- People can choose — one answer, up to 2 or 3, or any.
- Closes — in 1, 3 or 7 days, never, or a date you pick.
- Show results — always, after voting, or after it closes.
- Hide who voted — only numbers are shown.
- Press Post poll.
💡 You can still edit your poll (⋯ → Edit poll) until the first person votes. After that you can only close it early or delete it.
⚠️ Some Spaces let only their managers start polls. Then the ＋ Start a poll button is not shown to members.
Notifications #
- When the Space posts an official poll, every member gets a notification 📊.
- When a poll closes, everyone who voted (and the person who started it) gets "Poll closed — see the results".
Tap the notification to open the poll in its Space.
